Rachel Brown went to massage school at A Gathering Place Massage Therapy School. Prior to this, she completed a two-year program combining traditional Thai yoga positions and trigger point therapy called Coaching the Body®, a clinical approach to pain with a foundation in neuroscience.
Rachel also teaches GYROTONIC®, a low-impact form of exercise focused on movement functionality that uses specialized equipment. Rachel draws knowledge from a multitude of trainings and a wide variety of experience, including her lifelong dance background. A former graduate of Ball State University, Rachel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and has been performing and teaching all ages in all styles of dance in her hometown, Indianapolis, and Saint Louis ever since.
No matter what lens she is working through, Rachel loves empowering people who want to deepen awareness of their bodies, live pain-free, and improve their lives. As a perpetual learner and believer in constant growth, Rachel is inspired by the needs of her clients who present ever-new challenges; in addition, she is grateful for all of the mentorship and support through the years of finding her way through her own evolving self-improvement journey of which she is excited to continue.
