Pamper Yourself With a Prenatal Massage
Therapy That Nurtures You and Your Baby
Prepare for Your Baby's Arrival
Pregnancy is wonderful and exciting, but it can also be stressful on the body as your baby grows. A prenatal massage is a serene way to pamper yourself and alleviate pregnancy pains before your baby arrives.
Soothe Pregnancy Aches and Pains
While every pregnancy is unique, every expectant mother endures aches and pains, including backaches, leg cramps, and headaches.
At Cloud 9 Massage, our therapists take extra steps to ensure our prenatal massage is comfortable, enjoyable, and tailored to suit every pregnancy.
We use specially-designed massage tables and extra pillows and cushions for comfort and proper positioning. We also rely upon back or side-lying postures to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.
A prenatal massage nurtures you and your baby before labor. It soothes muscle fatigue, increases circulation, relaxes nervous tension, and reduces fluid build-up in the legs, ankles, and feet.
The Benefits of a Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage therapy reduces stress, decreases symptoms of depression, decreases stress on joints, and enhances your overall well-being, so you are ready for the baby to arrive.
A prenatal massage also helps treat medical conditions that are typical during pregnancy, including pre-eclampsia, low blood pressure, and varicosities.
How Does It Work?
A prenatal massage is a Swedish massage individually tailored to treat a pregnant woman’s concerns and priorities.
We customize your massage to accommodate your due date and the aches and pains you are experiencing.
At Cloud 9, we use specially-designed tables and pillows to provide expectant mothers with extra comfort and pampering. We also use back or side-lying postures to avoid putting pressure on the stomach.
In a Swedish prenatal massage, the therapist uses long, gliding strokes, kneading, and tapping techniques to relieve muscle tension and reduce fluid retention.
All clients receive a complimentary Mother Earth Hot Pillow and aromatherapy with their prenatal massage session. They can also add free whipped magnesium cream to their treatment.
A prenatal massage is not for every woman, especially if you suffer from improper positioning, blood clots, or a high-risk pregnancy. Please consult your doctor or medical professional before you schedule a session.
Courtney was very professional and took the time to understand my needs. The place was clean and nice.
